Course Offering Policy for Digital Education Program (Taleem)
- Course Launch Approval Process
- The Executive Officer (EO) of Digi-TaL holds the sole authority to launch courses.
- Decisions regarding course launches will be made after recommendations from the Executive Director of Academics and the Board of Advisors.
- Course funding will be determined based on recommendations from the Board of Governors.
- Course Structure
- Each course will comprise 12 sessions based on the flipped classroom model:
- 10 sessions will include recorded lectures and accompanying materials.
- 2 sessions will be live seminars.
- Each topic will be covered through three 15–20-minute videos, which will be viewable on the portal but not downloadable.
- Delivery will be based upon Microlearning Model
- Accompanying materials (in PDF format) will be downloadable.
- Weekly course material will be available on Fridays. Participants must review the material and actively engage in discussions on the provided whiteboard platform.
- Engagement in discussions is mandatory. Failure to participate will result in the participant being ineligible for a certificate.

- Course Completion and Certification
- To pass a course, participants must:
- Watch recorded lectures.
- Read the materials provided.
- Participate in whiteboard discussions.
- Ask critical questions.
- Complete reflective exercises.
- Pass quizzes and submit final assignments.
- The passing criteria for the course are as follows:
- Passing percentage: 70%.
- Certificates:
- Course Completion Certificate: Awarded to participants who pass all components of a course.
- Course Attendance Certificate: Awarded to participants who complete reflective exercises but do not pass the quizzes.
- Course Participation Certificate: Awarded to participants who complete at least 60% of the required activities but fail to meet the overall passing criteria.
- To pass a course, participants must:
- Program Certification
- To earn a Program Completion Certificate, participants must successfully complete at least three courses in a specific area of study.
- Policy and Contract Requirements
- All participants must sign a policy document and a formal contract before enrolling in a course or master class.
- The contract emphasizes honesty, transparency, and commitment. Any breach in this psychological contract may impact the relationship between the participant and Digi-TaL.
- Intellectual Property Rights
- All courses and materials prepared are the intellectual property of Digi-TaL.
- Unauthorized use, distribution, or reproduction of Digi-TaL’s copyrighted materials is strictly prohibited.
- If a breach of copyright is discovered, the responsible party’s contract will be terminated, and the respective course will be removed from the platform immediately.
- Legal action may be pursued in cases of unauthorized use of Digi-TaL’s intellectual property.
- Legal Implications
Participants are expected to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined in the contract. Any violation may lead to legal consequences as deemed appropriate by Digi-TaL
